Sunset Dining at Khashoka Aqaba: A Picturesque Evening Meal

Our dinner at Khashoka Aqaba was a unique experience that perfectly blended stunning views, reasonable prices, and impeccable service. Located in the upscale Yacht Club area, Khashoka surprisingly offers a relaxed dining atmosphere without the lofty yacht club prices, making it an accessible and delightful option for visitors looking to savor great food by the Red Sea.

A Scenic Feast with a Twist

The backdrop for our meal was nothing short of breathtaking—an unobstructed view of the Red Sea and a gorgeous sunset that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. We settled into our table with excitement and soon began to explore the menu. My wife and I decided to share a couple of dishes. We started with a fattoush salad, which, while fresh and flavorful, leaned a bit heavy on the fried bread.

We also ordered the chicken with white sauce, a dish served in a rustic clay pot. The chicken was covered with a tortilla-like dough and baked to perfection, a presentation that was both visually appealing and reminiscent of traditional cooking techniques. Although I moderately enjoyed the chicken, it wasn’t quite what I had been in the mood for that evening.

Refreshing Sips and Impeccable Service

To complement our meal, we tried two versions of a lemon mint drink—one regular and one frozen. Both were incredibly refreshing, offering a cool respite as we watched the sun dip slowly over the shimmering sea. The service at Khashoka Aqaba was impeccable; the staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured that our dining experience went off without a hitch. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the evening feel special.

Overall, our dinner at Khashoka Aqaba was a pleasant and satisfying experience. The combination of reasonable prices, spectacular Red Sea views, and top-notch service made for a memorable evening. While the dishes we chose were good, I can’t help but think that I might have enjoyed something different from the menu to better match my mood.
